Neil is an English born and raised photographer, who spent half of his life living in Johannesburg, South Africa and now resides on Long Island, New York. 

Since picking up his first camera at age 12, a Kodak 126 Instamatic, Neil has had a consuming passion for photography. 
Switching to digital photography in 2005, during a business trip to Germany, unleashed a creative side of Neil, that has been compared on numerous occasions to many great photographers, including such diverse practitioners as Edward Weston, Cartier Bresson and David LaChapelle, yet he remains an individual, noted for certain styles, yet possibly being an amalgamation of many of the photographic greats, indicating his many and varied influences, that are added to on a daily basis.

Neil has been published several times, in South Africa and USA, both in print and internet media, has done the photography for several corporate websites, has exhibited in both solo and joint shows and contributed his photography to many charity event campaigns.
